Frasier star Kelsey Grammer has suffered a heart attack while surfing near his home in Hawaii.
The 53-year old’s heart stopped momentarily as he splashed in the sea on Saturday. Grammer was subsequently airlifted and taken to hospital in Honolulu, where he is currently recovering.
His representative Stan Rosenfield reveals: "Kelsey is doing fine now and he will be going home tomorrow."
A source tells Star magazine: "Kelsey's heart stopped for a few seconds, that's for sure.
"He was then admitted to the Kona Community hospital where he was treated.
“Soon after he was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in Honolulu. I think he went for more tests there. The doctors treated this very seriously."
